LIFTING

Preparing the StandTrike

1      Ensure the spinner locking pin engages a hole in the frame cross member preventing spinning

2      Ensure the single post with the rubber bumper is stored horizontally in the stand base

3      Ensure the casters are unlocked

4      Lock the rear wheel of the trike

5      Position the stand about 4 feet in front of the trike with the casters pointing away from the trike

6      Lock the two casters below the spinner.

7      Extend the handles by lifting the retaining knob and sliding out until the knob engages the second hole in the handles

Preparing to Raise the Trike

8      Raise the stand using the handles until the stand is stable and resting on the two locked casters and the two 3” wheels close by

9      Position the hooks so that the longer arm is closest to the ground

10   Position the crank arms parallel to the ground

11   Roll the stand assembly toward the trike until the spinner hooks engage the cross tube supporting the trike front wheels

12   Unlock the rear wheel of the trike

Raising the Trike

13   Pull down on the handles of the stand while the trike is lifted and all four casters are are in contact with the ground

14   Retract the handles by lifting the retaining knob and pushing them in until the knob engages the second hole in the handles

15   Remove the single post from its spring clip and insert into the fitting in the center of the stand’s cross member opposite the cross member supporting the spinner with the holes aligned with the pull pin

Spinning the Trike

16   Release the locking pin preventing the spinner from spinning

17   Lift the rear wheel of the trike and spin180 degrees while moving the trike up and down to avoid obstacles

18   Set the trike onto the rubber bumper atop the single post

19 Engage the locking pin into the stand frame preventing the spinner from spinning

20 Release the caster locks if desiring to roll around the assembly

LOWERING

Preparing to Spin the Trike

1      Rotate the two casters under the spinner until they point toward the center of the stand and lock them

2      Unlock the spinner by disengaging the locking pin from the hole on the frame cross member

Spinning the Trike

3      Lift the trike off the rubber bumper

4      Rotate the trike 180 degrees while moving the trike up and down to avoid obstacles

5      Set the trike’s rear wheel on the ground

Lowering the Trike

6      Unlock the trike’s rear wheel if necessary

7      Remove the single vertical post and stow it in the spring clip

8      Engage the spinner locking pin into the frame cross member

9      Extend the handles until they are locked with the pull pin in the frame

10   Raise the handles while lowering the trike to the ground

11   Set the brake on the rear wheel of the trike

Stowing the Stand

12   Roll the stand away from the trike using the 3” wheels

13   Lower the stand until all four casters are on the ground

14   Release the caster locks

15 Stow the handles
